Ranch Canin Manitou is a nature-based dog camp.

It's an ideal place for active dogs, weighing at least 25 lbs / 12 kilos, 6 months and older, social, and loving the company of other dogs and outdoor life where they spend most of the day in small groups of 3 to 5 dogs.

Our commitment is to provide a calm, fun and safe environment for every dog in our care. No dog will be used to check the sociability of other clients' dogs. This is not the place to "socialize" dogs; positive socialization towards dogs and humans must already be acquired.

We reserve the right to refuse any dog found to be injured, ill or contagious. In such cases, a credit note will be issued.

Not allowed:

• Unspayed females over 1 year of age
• Unspayed females under 1 year of age who are ovulating or have ovulated for the first time.
• Fearful, stressed, aggressive dogs
• Dogs that refuse to be handled
• Dogs that are afraid of men
• Dogs uncomfortable around other dogs
• Dogs that dislike the presence of other dogs
• Dogs dependent on humans
• Dogs that bark excessively and constantly
• Dogs with wounds, sores or illnesses: diarrhea, cough, temperature and other symptoms.
• Dogs without proof of vaccination

We are aware that every dog is unique and, like us, has its own qualities and faults.

We know that some problems are circumstantial and can vary depending on the environment, the context, the attitude of humans, etc.

Thus, the conditions mentioned are mainly guidelines and are debatable. If you have any doubts about your dog's eligibility, it's best to talk to us and/or visit us.

We regularly welcome reactive, vocal and fearful dogs. Some are admitted as part of our educational boarding service, others in collaboration with external caregivers and educators.

What guides us in our decision whether or not to admit a dog is based on our ability to ensure a stay that is not only safe but also enjoyable for EVERYONE, and to maintain a serene atmosphere.
