Registration process

We have implemented a three-step process to ensure your dog's well-being and safety during his stay at Ranch Canin Manitou. This progressive approach allows us to assess your dog's adaptation and ensure a harmonious experience.
Why such a process?
Every dog is unique, and we want to make sure they feel at home in our environment before an extended stay.
This process allows us to :
Create a personalized file for your dog's specific needs.
Assess its temperament and compatibility with our environment.
Facilitate gradual integration to avoid stress.
File opening
01
Why?
Before booking, we need to get to know your dog. This step enables us to gather essential information about your dog's behavior, health and special needs.
How?
- Create an account on our platform.
- Fill in the application form with your dog's details.
Appointment for a Visit
02
Why?
How?
- Schedule an appointment via our website.
- Come and see our facilities and visit the ranch.
- We will carry out a behavioral assessment of your dog to ensure a smooth integration.
Reservation for a 24h Pension (Trial)
03
Why?
This trial period allows us to observe how your dog reacts to our environment and to make sure he's comfortable before a longer stay.
How?
- After the assessment, book a trial night in our guesthouse.
- Your dog will spend 24 hours with us to test its adaptation.
- At the end of your stay, we'll give you detailed feedback on your experience.

Frequently asked questions
Can I have news of my dog during his stay?
Yes, depending on the length of the stay and the dynamics of the group, we send news or photos when it doesn't disrupt the dogs' routine.
We prefer to be present with our dogs, rather than communicating instantaneously.
Where are you located and how are arrivals handled?
Ranch Canin Manitou is located in Sainte-Thècle, in the Mauricie region, in a quiet, secluded forest setting.
Arrivals and departures are by appointment only, to preserve the tranquillity of the dogs and avoid unnecessary crossings.
What do I need to bring?
Only his usual food and a few familiar landmarks (blanket, toy, harness).
We supply everything else: bowls, cages, bedding and adapted shelters.
